This usually comes in the form of a pretty medium range desktop computer with office software pre installed. Find yourself a good space at home that is both quiet and conducive to your business needs – the problem with a lot of home based jobs is that there are plenty of distractions. Many people dedicate their study or a specific room to do their work.

Next, you need to find a product or service to represent. Now this is one of the harder parts. Search online and find a company within a direct marketing network and sign up with them. They usually have a host of products and services from different vendors that you can choose from. Be wary about those that are either too cheap or too good to be true. If you do not trust their looks, then most likely, consumers will not either. If it is not a niche product, find one that either has an established name or is relatively known on the consumer market. It is always a better option to ride on the momentum of products that already have been marketed to the mass public.

You also need to be completely comfortable with the product that you choose and this means you need to have a lot of product knowledge. Do not make the mistake of choosing something that you think can sell well, even if you know nothing about it. Be comfortable with your choose and it has to be something you believe in as well. People can smell uncertainty a mile away, and that usually has a bad effect on their purchasing decisions. You need to be confident about your product and be able to defend it to the wind.

Third, you need to get yourself a highly targeted list. Trying to compile your own database would only mean that you are wasting your time on something you are not good at and ending up with a list that is diluted, unspecified and full of customers who have no potential in being interested in your product. In the art of selling and marketing, it pays not to be cheap. Money makes money, and you need a small capital investment into a company that builds lists from the ground up according to the industry that you are trying to penetrate. BY matching your product with an excited market, you are then able to sell much better. It is the difference between a dial tone and a ‘possible’ sale.

These are all you need as a start to your telemarketing jobs from home. As you progress you will learn more about the intricacies about buying and selling, especially how to handle customer relations.

Taped from my answering machine: So my teenage son answers the phone knowing it’s a telemarketer and yells into the phone, then hangs up. The guy calls back and starts cussing into the machine, so I pick up and say “EXCUSE ME???”, upon which the guy hangs up (which is why the first call is cut off on the video). The guy continues to call back (three more times – two of which fit here), and is either nuts, bipolar, on drugs, or all the above. This is crazy wild … after calling me a “M*th*r F*ck*r”, numerous times, he calmly asks “So … are you gonna buy the magazine?” An attorney friend of mine says some telemarketing companies sometimes use prisoners, which would make sense in this case. Regardless, I hope magazine companies know just what kind of telemarketers they’re hiring!

To make money from blogs you have to go about things in the right way. It is possible to supplement your income, or even create a very large income as a blogger. In this article we will talk about two ways Internet marketers make money on the Internet today from their blogs.

1. Build a theme blog. With this approach you concentrate on developing a very large blog around a targeted theme. It could be a specific niche or it could be a broad based theme.

The more pages you have on page 1 of Google the more traffic your blog will get. This is the first step to making money from a blog like this.

The other part of this is to monetize your blog with affiliate products. Some bloggers choose to focus strictly on having Google Adsense ads on their blog.

There is no selling involved with this. Google pays out hundreds of millions of dollars in affiliate commissions every year.

You make money when people click on the Google ads. This is as easy as adding some code to your blog. If you have a WordPress blog they even have a plug-in can use for that.

2. Build a virtual blogging empire. Your goal here is to develop as many different blogs targeting specific niches as you can.

There are Internet marketers that have several hundred blogs they make money on every month. You are building a virtual empire of blogs that can earn you money month after month.

The more blogs you have the more income that they can bring to you. Monetizing your blog with affiliate products is something you can do.

You can add banner ads for various affiliate products relating to the theme of the blog. Many bloggers will join Amazon.com and ClickBank.com to come up with products to sell.

These are two ways Internet marketers make money from blogs. You can build a very large themed blog and make money on one blog. Or you can develop hundreds of niche blogs and make a little bit of money on multiple blogs.

You can ask for the names and contact information from your clients and ask them to let their referrals know to expect your call.  To make it easier, give them the choice of verbally providing the information or by completing a short form that you can provide for them.  Some clients may even let you hold a presentation for other homeowners in their homes.  This allows you to provide everyone with the benefits of mortgage insurance at the same time.

As long as there are homeowners and mortgages there will always be a need for mortgage insurance.  With the right strategy and connections, you can get as many mortgage insurance leads as you can handle and reach many of those homeowners. You can build your customer base on a steady basis and become the agent of choice in your area.
